Sensible ICT Security

The National e-Crime Prevention Centre (NeCPC) is a multidisciplinary and multi-agency network and currently a virtual centre of excellence in e-Crime prevention and enterprise security. Membership from international agencies, Universities, Industry and crime prevention units provides a critical mass of expertise.

Regional, National and International links are being established with agencies and leading businesses through the centre including links with professional bodies, industry, public authorities, and academic institutions worldwide .

A physical centre is planned to be located at the University of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands which will enable knowledge transfer from research to industry and to beneficiaries of the research including partner organisations. Knowledge will be transferred through training, seminars, conferences, advice and consultancy. Research will also feed into undergraduate and post-graduate teaching.
